In the middle of the forest, there is a small and at the same time monumental two-story mansion, a former state-owned "dacha" #1. Now it is a treatment ward of the "Oak Grove" sanatorium. The complex of the sanatorium was built in the 1920s-1930s of the 20th century. Until 1934 it served as government rest houses. The territory included a part of the forest with several cottages, two orchards, a farmyard, and staff houses. The "dacha" #1 was probably designed by architect Steinberg and constructed by 1929. This building is listed as an architectural monument. The underlying basis of the mansion's design is the close contact with nature. Therefore even the structure of this constructivist building has a human character. It is a plan-asymmetrical structure with rooms for vacationers and staff on the ground and first floors. The exterior is a combination of different volumes: the volume of the main building, stairs, and terraces. в котором чувствуется стремление create a picturesque silhouette of the building. The asymmetrical composition of facades is due to the contrast of the plain wall and lattice terraces. The separate block of the staircase unit is decorated with solid stained glass. The northern facade is cut by two tapes of glazed panels, strengthening the contrast between the wall and a glass tape. The harmonious design of volumes and facade planes create an expressive composition. Particular importance was given to the three-dimensional construction, which leaned towards the desire to combine the inner and outer spaces, man and nature. Such links are terraces that connect the housing with the forest.
